Nearly 70 percent of people displaced by the crisis in Syria are women and children, a population that is also more likely to experience sexual violence, trafficking and exploitative labor, and reduced access to education. The UNHCR finds that refugee girls are half as likely to go to secondary school as their male peers. Thanks to the ADRA Learning Center in Lebanon, Farah* will not be one of those girls.
